buffaloBARRE® is a female-only, boutique style studio. This policy ensures that women will feel comfortable working out at our studio. We hold special events where you may invite your spouse or significant other to experience buffaloBARRE®.
Please use the cubbies in the studio to store your personal belongings i.e. keys, wallet, cell phones.
No cell phones, pagers, pets allowed in the class area. Cell phones must stay in cubbies. Please turn cell phones on silent before the start of class. Texting/Emailing is not allowed during class. Not only is this very disruptive to the instructor but also to clients around you trying to focus on their workout. If for some reason you need to take a call, please excuse yourself and leave the studio.
Please do not carry on conversations with other clients during class. Everyone is entitled to a mindful workout and conversations are highly distracting to other clients and instructors.
Please arrive perfume and fragrance free.
Please notify us of any changes in your health/medical condition.
First time clients – Please arrive 15 min. early for your first class to provide ample time to fill out a waiver, take a tour and meet your instructor. Walk-ins welcome provided there is space.
Injured Clients – It is recommended that clients with injuries consult with their physicians before beginning any new exercise routine. Please speak with your Buffalo Barre instructor about your injury before class begins.
Pregnant Clients – If you exercise regularly, have no serious medical problems, and an uncomplicated pregnancy, it may be safe to exercise. You must have a prescription from your physician clearing you for exercise. For those who are pregnant and have not followed a consistent workout routine for the last six months, we highly advise you to postpone your participation until after the pregnancy.
Please do not attend class if you are ill or contagious for the welfare of others.
Please wear grippy socks to Barre, Dance Cardio and Sculpt classes. (Note: Please wear sneakers to Slide, Power Core and Kickboxing classes.) This is required. Bare feet in class will not be allowed for basic hygiene reasons (except for yoga classes when you are on your own mat.) The grippy socks also help prevent slippage. It is reccomended that you bring a filled water bottle and a small towel. Grippy barre socks and water can be purchased at the studio (socks prices range from $15-$18 depending on the style), bottled water ($1).
