buffaloBARRE® Self-Defense for Women Event

On Saturday, Dec. 10, we hosted a Self-Defense class for women at buffaloBARRE®. The class was taught by Al Festaiuti, world class karate and boxing champion. The class was both instructional and hands-on. We all had a partner and practiced being both the attacker and the victim. Self-Defense classes are a great way to learn how to protect yourself from physical harm, to feel empowered, to remember how important it is to stay physically fit not just for health reasons but to be strong enough to protect yourself in situations such as these. We hope you learned a lot and enjoyed the class! Be sure to take a look at these photos as a way to review what you learned today. Thank you to all who attended and to Al for a great class! Stay safe everyone and remember to always be on guard and ready for any situation!
