Transformation Spotlight

“I started coming to Buffalo Barre in April of 2016 and had no idea what to expect. I had never tried Barre before, but had heard great things, and Buffalo Barre was down the street from my house so I decided to give it a try! I was worried it was going to be too easy or low impact for me. Well, the first class was so hard that I was shaking in some of the poses and barely got through it. But I stuck with it 3-4 times a week and was amazed at how much stronger I was getting after just a few weeks. I saw inches come off of my waist and thighs (my problem areas!) and I saw improved performance in other areas such as my yoga practice and running. I was even inspired by Maria to train for my first half marathon, which I completed this past May. Since the classes are small, the other members took me in and made me feel at home right away. I have never been part of such a supportive community. Combined with a plant- based diet, I have lost 18 pounds, but gained strength, confidence and many new friendships.
